Brief Intro

Heather R. Sulte, DDS, MS (aka: Princess) Dr. Heather Sulte has been an Alaskan resident since 1973, and is a 1989 Service High School graduate. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Seattle University in Seattle, Washington, and her doctor of dental surgery degree at the University of Nebraska. Accompanied by her husband and three children, Dr. Sulte moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota where she completed her endodontic residency. In 2004, Dr. Sulte and family moved back to Alaska where she entered into endodontic practice. In seeing that three children were not difficult enough, she enlarged her family with four more additions: Lauren, the baby of the family; Girdy (short for Girdwood), the fat Golden Retriever; Budda the amputee three legged hamster; and the newest addition Cheeto the Bengal cat. Dr. Sulte loves living in Anchorage and enjoys alpine skiing, mountain biking and hiking…there’s little time for anything else! She loves food and is the world’s fastest eater. Her husband says they keep the Anchorage restaurant business booming. When she is not performing root canals she can often be found in her office shining her tiara. The staff at Aspen Endodontics loves her for her professionally upbeat and easy going personality and they can’t help but chuckle after a difficult day when Dr. Sulte asks, "Am I too old to be an F-22 fighter pilot, or is it too late to become a dolphin trainer?”. Having recently started Aspen Endodontics (named after her oldest daughter), Dr.Sulte seeks to dispel the myth of the “horrible root canal” one patient at a time.
