Brief Intro

Dr Heather Willis grew up in Delta Junction, Alaska before moving to Colorado for her Undergraduate degree where she graduated from Adams State College. She then attended Dental School at the University of Colorado in Denver, CO where she graduated in 2004. After completing a General Practice Residency, Dr Willis worked for Dental Aid, a non-profit comprehensive dental clinic in Louisville, CO. In 2008, Dr Willis moved home to Fairbanks, AK to be the Dental Director for Interior Community Health Center. In 2010, she joined the long established office of Dr James Cerney which she purchased in December of 2010. Dr Willis is a tripartite member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Alaska Dental Society (ADS) and North Central Dental District Society (NCDDS). She served as the President of the NCDDS from 2010 to 2011 and Secretary of the ADS from 2011 to 2012. She is currently the President-Elect for the ADS and will take over as the President in October, 2013. Dr Willis is also an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the Academy of Laser Dentistry.
