A graduate of the University of Texas in Austin, Dr. Cassim went on to earn his medical degree at NOVA Southeastern Medical School in Miami, Florida. He completed his residency and became board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Minnesota where he became proficient in interventional pain management. Dr. Cassim continued on at the University of Minnesota at Riverside to earn his Fellowship in Pain Management. Because of his many great experiences with the people in the Twin Cities and the way of life here, Dr. Cassim is pleased to make Minneapolis his home after living many other places in the world. When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Cassim enjoys travel, fitness and has most recently taken up diving as his latest hobby.
