Hamid Atabakhsh, DDS, MS, BA Dr. Atabakhsh had a passion for dentistry from early on in his academic career. Dr. Atabakhsh attended UCLA School of Dentistry, one of the most prestigious dental schools in nation, and graduated with top honors in 1997. While studying at UCLA School of Dentistry, Dr. Atabakhsh had the opportunity to benefit from working with some of the world renowned pioneers of periodontics and implant dentistry. Dr. Atabakhsh is also a graduate of University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston where he attended a surgical residency in Periodontics and graduated with a specialty degree in Periodontics and a Master of Science in 2002. Since 2002, Dr Atabakhsh has performed over a thousand cases of surgical implant placement and restorations for people missing one or more of their teeth due to decay, gum disease, and accidents. Dr Atabakhsh performs IV sedation procedures for patients who may be anxious and low tolerance to dental surgical procedures. Dr. Atabakhsh attends many hours of continuing dental education courses to keep up with the latest in treatment of patients with complicated treatment needs.
