Gregory Ricca, MD,FAANS,FACS,AME is a Neurosurgeon Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons practicing in Searcy, AR. He is a member of Searcy Medical Center, an Outpatient Department of the White County Medical Center, seeing patients full time in Searcy since January, 2012. Before then, he practiced in Jonesboro, Arkansas, first in a group practice when he moved to Northeast Arkansas in 1991 after finishing his residency at UT Memphis/Semmes Murphey Clinic and then in solo practice as Ricca Neurosurgical Cinic in 2006.
Dr. Ricca's emphasis is adult spinal disease. Treatment for this group of diseases include minimally invasive endoscopic spinal surgery and complex lumbar, thoracic and cervical spinal fusions, as well as more conservative therapies such as injections and physical therapy.
Dr. Ricca also treats peripheral nerve entrapment syndromes, such as carpal tunnel syndrome and ulnar nerve entrapment.
Dr. Ricca, an avid pilot himself, is certified as a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner. Through his office, he offers pilots and student pilots flight physicals required for a pilot's license.
