Brief Intro

Dr. Morganroth is one of a handful of board certified, fellowship-trained dermatologic surgeons in the Bay Area specializing in Mohs micrographic surgery for the treatment of skin cancer. After completing his training at Yale in 1994, he was one of approximately 35 dermatologists in the world to begin a dermatologic surgery fellowship emphasizing skin oncology, Mohs, laser, and reconstructive surgery. During this intensive surgical fellowship, he performed over 800 Mohs surgery and reconstruction cases. Between 2004 and 2005, he performed 1,488 Mohs surgery procedures to remove complicated skin cancers followed by advanced reconstruction of the skin defect for the best cosmetic result. He runs a Mohs and Advanced Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship Training Program that has been approved by the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology.
