In addition to practicing general ophthalmology, Dr. Greg Diamond specializes in Neuro-Ophthalmology. This includes the diagnosis and treatment of optic nerve disorders, double vision, visual field loss and eyelid & eye movement disorders. These issues are often co-managed, working together with neurologists, endocrinologists, oncologists and primary care physicians.
Dr. Diamond completed his undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University followed by receiving his Medical Degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. After Medical School, he completed his internship at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia, his ophthalmology residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York and his neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at New York University School of Medicine in New York City.
Currently a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the New York State Medical Society, Dr. Diamond is Board Certified in Ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
