Boyles Orthodontics Meet the Orthodontist Glenn A. Boyles, DDS, MS Dr. Glenn A. Boyles is a native of West Virginia and has two orthodontic practices in the state. He was born in Fairmont, WV, and has an office in Fairmont and an office in Morgantown. Boyles graduated from West Virginia University with a Board of Regents degree in 1985 and graduated from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 1989. He practiced general dentistry for 16 years before he decided to become an orthodontist. Dr. Glenn (as so many of his patients kindly refer to him) was a Clinical Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at the WVU School of Dentistry from 1993 through 2004. He was the Interim Director of Pediatric Dentistry at the WVU School of Dentistry from 2001 through 2004. "Due to my pediatric dentistry background and working with kids in various activities, I decided I wanted to become an orthodontist so I could make a positive impact on children's confidence — both appearance and health wise," says Dr. Boyles. In May of 2007, Boyles graduated with a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics from West Virginia University. Presently, a part-time Clinical Professor of Orthodontics at the WVU Department of Orthodontics, Dr. Boyles explains, "I really enjoy teaching and staying current with all of the new technology that is available in our profession." Dr. Boyles has a family of dentists. His father, Dr. George Boyles, has been practicing dentistry for over 50 years. Also, he is married to Dr. Laura Withers-Boyles, who is a general dentist in Fairmont, WV. The Boyles have two daughters, MacKenzie and Catherine. Dr. Boyles is an avid golfer; loves coaching; is a WRLF radio personality, being the color analyst for East Fairmont High School athletics; and enjoys vacationing with his family.
