Giorgio M. Aru, MD, is Program Director of Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency Program and Surgical Director of the Heart Transplant Program at the University of Mississippi. He has extensive training and experience in cardiac transplantation as well as in the all gamut of General Thoracic, Adult and Congenital Heart diseases. He has wide range of clinical and basic science research interest and has published over 120 peer reviewed paper.
