Dr Criste has dual board-certification in the field of Interventional Pain Management and Neurology. The focus of his practice in non-surgical and minimally invasive treatment of spinal pain. With the help of ancillary and diagnostic interventions, he tries to pinpoint the source of back, neck or arm/leg pain and customize a treatment plan emphasizing on non-narcotic and non-surgical approach to treatment of these conditions. Dr Criste was born and raised in The Philippines where he completed medical school and a surgical internship. He then completed his internship and residency in Neurology at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, IL. After residency, he completed an Anesthesia Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He has also done a postdoctoral research fellowship in Neuroscience at The Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He sees patients at Trinity Neuroscience Institute in Carbondale, IL. A multidisciplinary team of neurosurgeons, neurologist, pain specialist and therapist, dedicated to the treatment of brain and spinal disorders.
