Dr. Haas has spent his entire medical career taking care of patients in Albia and surrounding communities. He began his practice in Albia in 1982, treating patients of all ages. He is a board certified family physician. Dr. Haas, a native of Michigan, completed his undergraduate studies at Central College in Pella and attended the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences (now Des Moines University) in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his residency at Des Moines General Hospital. Dr. Haas serves as Medical Examiner of Monroe County. Dr. Haas and his wife Kristy reside in Albia. They are the parents of three sons and a daughter and the proud grandparents of twin granddaughters, Olivia and Rylie. Dr. Haas enjoys fishing in Canada each summer, traveling, walking his dog and photography. His best photography moments are photos of his granddaughters and of nature.
