Brief Intro

I come from a big family, and my patient care philosophy is that I treat patients the same way I would treat a family member. I view a patient as someone?s mother, sister or wife. Everybody deserves care, and my job is to help them. One of my areas of specialty is chronic wounds, particularly patients with bed sores. I also work with cancer patients in need of reconstructive surgery and help to create a cancer-free world. I?m motivated to do my work because, as a plastic surgeon, you can make a difference in someone?s life. A plastic surgeon can help change a person?s body image or alleviate pain from chronic wounds. The beauty of my job is that it?s all about creative problem solving. That, to me, is the real reward: solving a difficult problem to improve the patient?s quality of life. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, our goal is to provide patients with targeted, individualized care with better outcomes. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, golfing and skiing.
