Dr. Mendelovici received specialized training in urogynecology and pelvic surgery through a fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut.
In addition to his practice, he is involved in training resident physicians at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Mendelovici is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He has been recognized with the National Faculty Award for Excellence in Resident Education in 1999 as well as, Teacher of the Year for 1992-1993.
Dr. Mendelovici has conducted research on pelvic problems and has been published in his field of expertise. He is active in the development and utilization of new cutting edge technology and is one of four fellowship training urogynecologist in the state. Dr. Mendelovici is listed as a lifetime member in the Strathmore's Who's Who for leadership and Achievement.
