I chose surgery because of the hands-on approach to surgical problems. I like the combination of technical skill and medical knowledge that treatment of surgical disease requires. I enjoy all aspects of general surgery from initial consultation to post-operative follow-up. I like to focus on patient education and expectations throughout the surgical experience. I have an interest in laparoscopy and hernia surgery. When not at work, I enjoy running, reading, rugby, and spending time with my family, which includes our Beagles, Barney and Jake.
