Brief Intro

I practice internal medicine because I am interested in working with patients on all of their medical problems and concerns. I understand how difficult it could be for patients to manage complex medical problems once they leave the doctor's office. I believe in helping patients understand how medical problems and treatment for their illness interacts with each other, so they can take care of it. It is a pleasure to be in primary care working with patients on putting information together from several sources and specialists. In this process I like getting to know patients and their families. This allows us to form a healing relationship and make collaborative decisions about patient care. I enjoy the intellectual challenge of evaluating and solving complex medical needs. I work both in clinic and hospital so I can prevent and shorten the length of hospital stay for patients. I feel privileged to be a part of patient's well being.
