Dr. Bender received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, followed by an internship and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at St. Francis Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He went on to complete a Fellowship in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation/ Pain Medicine Intervention at the University of Pennsylvania Affiliated Hospitals in Philadelphia. Dr. Bender has been practicing medicine for almost 20 years. Prior to joining The NeuroMedical Center in 2010, he practiced in Indiana, Illinois, North Dakota and Pennsylvania. Dr. Bender is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and pain medicine through the American Board of Medical Specialties.
