Dr. DeVries received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, and completed his residency at Loyola University of Chicago in Maywood, Illinois. He is board certified and is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. DeVries is a past clinical services chief in OB-GYN at Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. DeVries is a clinical instructor at the UNMC, and received the "Outstanding Volunteer Faculty of the Year" award in 1992 from the Clarkson Family Medicine Residency Program. He is also a member of the American Medical Association, the Nebraska Medical Association, the Metro-Omaha Medical Society, and the Omaha OB-GYN Society.
