Dr. Evalina Burger is a South-African trained spine surgeon, specializing in adult deformity and reconstruction. She was the first female spine surgeon to be selected for the prestigious ABC fellowship in 2000. This honor is bestowed biennially on the top 6 orthopedic surgeons in the English speaking world. She relocated to New Orleans in 2001 and joined the University of Colorado Denver in 2006. Dr. Burger has a vast experience in comprehensive spine care including pain management, tumors and infection and is well versed in traumatic conditions of the Spine.
