Dr. Zitzmann was a founding member of Westchester Orthopedic Associates in 1971. He graduated from Cornell University and Cornell University Medical College and, after two years of surgery at New York Hospital, served as a naval surgeon on an aircraft carrier, and at the Submarine Medical Center. His residency in orthopedic surgery was at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and included a Junior Anne C. Kane fellowship. Dr. Zitzmann has a special interest in adult hip and knee replacement surgery and foot surgery. He has published on hip and back surgery.
