Ellen L. Kehoe, DO, certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and cardiology, specializes in noninvasive diagnostic cardiology. After graduating from Michigan State University in 1982, she served her internship at Riverside Osteopathic Hospital in Trenton, Michigan, followed by a residency in internal medicine at the Metropolitan Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her cardiology fellowship was based at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine with extensive training at the Graduate Hospital, Temple University Hospital, and the Medical College of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kehoe's background includes 10 years of clinical cardiology in a community hospital setting. She is experienced in acute patient care as well as in developing long-term relationships to modify cardiac risk factors and optimize patient's quality of living. Dr. Kehoe recently returned to Michigan to provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology care in the Mt. Pleasant area. Previously, she practiced in Maine where she also enjoyed her associate clinical professorship at the New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Kehoe is originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan, where several of her family members currently reside. She has one daughter, Marisa, adopted at birth in 1992.
