Elizabeth W. Lau, M.D. is a native of Lincoln, Nebraska. Beth completed her pre-medical undergraduate at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln with a B.S. in Psychology in 1982. Beth then completed her medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1986. Beth completed an internship in internal medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1987. Beth then completed an anesthesia residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1990.
