Brief Intro

In each step of the medical and surgical process addressing urologic problems, I treat patients as if they were family members. That means that I care explicitly about their long-term outcomes, the total picture of their lives, and addressing them with transparency and respect. The first step in treatment is always gathering information through direct discussion with the patient and through the judicious use of appropriate tests. My next step is education, so that patients and loved ones fully understand the condition, the treatment options, and their role in the process. Only after education can they become an active and integral part of the healthcare team and make informed decisions. My overall goal as a doctor is to provide patients with the most up-to-date urologic care delivered in a compassionate and personal way.
