Dr. Jeffries specializes in hip and knee surgery. He received his undergraduate degree in zoology from Michigan State University in 1968. He attended Wayne State University where he completed his M.D. Biology degree in 1970 and his medical degree In 1974. Dr. Jeffries completed an orthopedic surgical internship and residency in 1978. He received specialty training during fellowships in hand and foot surgery. He is a member of the Aescapapinas Society, Wayne State University; the American Medical Association, and the Michigan Orthopaedic Society. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgerons. Dr. Jeffries is also a clinical instructor at the Wayne State University School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons
