Dr. Edward Ford, M.D., is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in adult reconstructive surgery and general orthopaedics. He is one of the founders of MBO. Another "hometown doctor" among our providers, he grew up in Lawrenceville and earned his bachelor's degree from the College of New Jersey in1974. He continued his education at Newark's University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, graduating with his M.D. in 1980. Dr. Ford's orthopaedic residency training was completed at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson, NJ and Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA. Dr. Ford's hospital staff appointments include active staff positions at Capital Health Systems at Mercer and Fuld Campuses in Trenton and at RWJ University Hospital in Hamilton, NJ; an associate staff position at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA; and an active attending staff position at Lawrence Rehabilitation Center in Lawrenceville, NJ. Dr. Ford and his wife, Joanne, reside in Washington Crossing, PA, and has six children. His hobby of restoring old farm tractors often finds him in faraway places in search of his next "great find" for restoration.
