Dr. Ed Bruns retired from his Bond Clinic medical practice on December 31, 2009. However, Dr. Ed continues to practice at the PCRMC Medical Office Building and PCRMC. Dr. Edward Bruns, a Missouri native, moved to Rolla in 1990 from his former practice in St. Louis, MO. During his prior practice in St. Louis, Dr. Bruns developed his practice in gastrointestinal disease and endoscopy, directed teaching programs of medical students, interns and residents. Dr. Bruns is certified in Internal Medicine and Bone Densitometry. He received the honor of Fellow in the American College of Osteopathic Internists in 1990. Dr. Bruns practices both in the field of general Internal Medicine and gastrointestinal diseases, liver diseases and gastrointestinal endoscopy. He also has an interest in metabolic bone diseases and sees patients with Osteoporosis and other bone diseases. Dr. Bruns has several administration leadership roles at Bond Clinic and Phelps County Regional Medical Center.
