Dr. Harmon earned his medical degree from LSU. He completed his internship at the US Naval Hospital in San Diego, California, and his residency at Ochsner. Dr. Harmon is the Clinical Director of Anesthesia and Section Head of Cardiovascular and Transplant Anesthesia. Additionally, he is the Program Director for the Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesia Fellowship Program. He is board certified in anesthesiology and has been on staff at Ochsner since 1977.
