Dr. Cheatum is a member of the Texas and American Medical Associations and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology. He has served on the National Council of Rheumatologic Care and the Carrier Advisory Committee for Medicare for Texas, and is on the staff of Presbyterian Hospital. He is a life-long resident of Dallas, a graduate of Highland Park High School, SMU and Washington University in St. Louis Medical School. He and his wife, Carolyn, have two children.
