Deyanira (Dee) Prastein, MD, is a heart surgeon. She is board certified in Thoracic Surgery and is an assistant professor at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. She specializes in adult cardiac surgery with a special interest in advanced heart failure surgical therapies (LVADs) and structural heart disease.
