Dr. Stevens trained at the University of Washington in a combined orthopaedic and neurosurgical spine fellowship after completing his orthopaedic surgery residency. He treats degenerative disease, deformity and trauma. Dr. Stevens' fellowship encompassed both traditional open techniques as well as minimally invasive techniques in spine care.
