Dr. Boettger (pronounced bet-ger) is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. He earned degrees from the University of North Carolina (BS Biology) and Abilene Christian University (MS Developmental Biology). He graduated from Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, and moved to Salt Lake City to complete Peidatric residency training. He has been in full-time practice since 1986. In addition to caring for infants and young children, Dr. Boettger enjoys adolescent medicine, and a full variety of problems relaating to learning, development and behavior. He sees newborn infants at Alta View Hoospital in Sandy and also at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray. He also hase privileges at Primary Children's Medical Center and the University Hospital.
Prior to his medical career, Dr. Boettger was a C-130 pilot in the USAF. He enjoys photography and woodworking as hobbies and outdoor recreation activities with his family. He is married to Jill who is a P:eidatric Speech Pathologist. They have two boys, Robbie, a chemical engineering major at the "U," and Mikey who is in High School.
