Brief Intro

There are less than 200 board certified pediatric rheumatologists in the United States and Canada. I am the only board certified pediatric rheumatologist in Central and Northeast Wisconsin. My goal in treating young people with autoimmune disease is the achievement of a comfortable and relatively normal lifestyle for the patient and their family. Our first visit is quite detailed in order to assure an accurate diagnosis. Subsequent visits address the medical, physical and emotional needs of the young patient in an effort to achieve the best lifestyle possible. Between visits, frequent contact is often maintained by a full time pediatric rheumatology phone nurse to address the many issues that frequently develop in the child's life and wellbeing.
