Brief Intro

Dr. David R. Boag received his undergraduate degree from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan before attending the University of Detroit, where he graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1994. He completed his general practice residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and he was an intern at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at LSU Medical Center, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Medical College of Georgia. He's been in private practice in the Atlanta area and La Grange since 1999. Dr. Boag is a member of the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics, Georgia Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Oral Systemic Health, and International Association of Ozone in Healthcare and Dentistry. He was the first dentist in Georgia to employ the use of ozone. He travels the country to attend educational seminars and contributes regularly to educational dental forums. His number one priority in his practice is you, our patient, and you'll love his personalized, comfortable and caring way of coaching and delivering dental care. Dr. Boag delivers excellent patient care by actually listening to what the patient wants instead of just telling them what they should do. He believes that the patient determines their own treatment options and he's here to help implement them. Dr. Boag also believes in having fun and wants you to know that your time here is not meant to be a chore. Dr. Boag has worked in extremely busy practices during his dental training where most patients were treated like a number. In his own practice however, he loves the fact that he can give personalized attention rather than like those training days. You can expect to see cheerful faces, hear a lot of laughter and even enjoy your own choice of music or DVD movies in our practice. Dr. Boag and his wife, Sherri, live in Fayetteville, have three children, one dog, and three cats. He is very active at First Baptist Church in Peachtree City, and he loves live music (especially guitar music), skydiving, playing poker with friends, and watching Detroit Red Wings hockey.
