David J. Ellingson, PA-C, has worked closely with cardiothoracic surgery physicians and patients at some of the most notable medical facilities in the country, including Duke University Medical Center and the Emory Clinic. Since 1993, David has focused on pre- and post-operative management of patients receiving cardiac, thoracic and vascular procedures,including robotic procedures. He also has experience in thoracentesis and chest tube insertion, IABP insertion/removal, insertion of invasive monitoring lines and inpatient and outpatient care. David is currently a Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and has been a preceptor for MAQUET endoscopic vein harvest products.
