After growing up in Lexington, Kentucky, where I completed my medical school and residency, I came to Southern California to do my Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and the University of California, Irvine. Following Fellowship, I joined the faculty at the University of Louisville before returning to become the Medical Director at the new Saddleback Women's Hospital in 1988. Since that time I have worked at Saddleback Women's Hospital and have been part of Perinatal Associates of Southern California.
Our practice focuses on the care of women with high risk pregnancies. We follow a small number of women who have special medical or other problems such as multiple gestations. We also perform antenatal testing with ultrasound, amniocentesis and other techniques. My special interest includes fetal heart defects and methods for lowering the cesarean section rate.
My office is located immediately adjacent to the Saddleback Women's Hospital within the Saddleback Fetal Diagnostic Center. As a participant in the MemorialCare Program, I am committed to the highest quality of care for all of my patients.
