Brief Intro

Dr. Cook was born and raised in Pocatello. In 1975 he received his B.S. degree from Brigham Young University; Summa Cum Laude. In 1979 he received his M.D. degree from University of Utah; Honors Medicine Program. In 1982 he began his Internal Medicine Residency at Duke University Medical Center. In 1984 he began his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Duke University Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine as well as Gastroenterology. After his training he practiced for a number of years in Illinois before returning to Pocatello. He and his wife have five children and five grandchildren.
