Meet Dr. Darrin Mangiacarne
Dr. Darrin Mangiacarne is a highly esteemed addiction medicine specialist and Certified Physician Executive with a unique background in family medicine. After graduating from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Mangiacarne completed his family medicine residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, PA, and became the second addiction medicine fellow at Geisinger Health System.
He holds board certifications in family medicine from the AOBFP and addiction medicine from the ABPM and AOBFP, as well as titles as a Distinguished Fellow of ASAM and a FAOAAM.
With over 11 years of experience in addiction medicine, Dr. Mangiacarne has made significant contributions to the field, including co-chairing the Indiana Attorney General’s Task Force on addiction and serving as the Past-President of the Indiana Society of Addiction Medicine. Currently, he is the Secretary/Treasurer for the American Osteopathic Academy of Addiction Medicine and the Chief Medical Officer at Banyan Treatment Centers.
