Dr. Daniel Ries was born in Indiana and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated with a B.A. cum laude in Greek and Latin at Carleton College. He received his M.D. at the University of Minnesota and completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center. He received his Fellowship training at the University of Colorado Medical Center. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Dr. Ries joined Kidney Specialists of Minnesota in 2001 and works at Kidney Specialists of Minnesota Fridley clinic.
