Dr. Smith has been practicing medicine since 1994 and was board certified in Radiation Oncology in 1995. Dr. Smith received his medical degree from Hahnemann University in 1990. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Smith has additional training and expertise in treatment of brain and central nervous system malignancies and has been associated with the San Diego Gamma Knife Center since its inception. He is a member in good standing of the American Society of Therapeutic and Radation Oncologists, the American Medical Society, and the International Society of Stereotactic Radiosurgery, among other organizations.
