From Abilene Kansas, Dr. Cindy Penzler received her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City, Kansas. After completing an internship in Pediatrics from the University of Kansas School of Medicine,Wichita, Kansas, she furthered her training at the University of Kansas with residency training from the Department of Ophthalmology. Dr. Penzler is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Penzler has been awarded the American Medical Association Physician’s Recognition Award for completion of at least fifty hours of continuing medical education annually. She is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an Active Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
