Brief Intro

I was born and raised in Colorado, where I expected to live my entire life. Fortunately, fulfilling my obligation to the Navy (which paid for my medical school) allowed me to live in other parts of the country and overseas. Now, my family and I reside in beautiful Western Washington. I am happily married with three great kids, including a set of twins. I studied chemical engineering as an undergraduate, but my desire to work with my hands to improve the lives of others led me to surgery. I spent almost ten years in the Navy, including two years as the medical officer with the U.S. Marine Infantry Battalion. In addition to my medical degree, I have a master_s in health administration from the University of Washington. I have practiced in Oakland, California, and Hawaii, where I lived for seven years. I enjoy the relationships that I_ve built with my colleagues and patients working at this organization.
