Dr. Goodman started the Practice in 1976 in Chandler and has cared for over 50,000 pregnant patients. Dr. Goodman grew up in a medical family. His great grandfather was one of the first medical doctors in Arizona, starting practice in the 1880's. Dr. Goodman was born in Washington, D.C., where his father studied medicine, but relocated with his family to Chandler, Arizona, shortly thereafter. In 1971, Dr. Goodman graduated from the George Washington University School of Medicine with the degree of "Doctor of Medicine." He then completed specialty training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the George Washington University Hospitals in the spring of 1974. He spent two years as a medical officer with the United States Navy, based in California, before moving back to the Valley with his own family. He has been Chief of Staff at Chandler Regional Hospital two different times during his career. He is one of only two OB/GYN physicians that have served in this capacity for the hospital - the other OB/GYN physician being Dr. Scott Partridge.
