Dr. Freling graduated from SUNY at Stony Brook and received his medical degree from Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences. He completed his internship at Scott Medical Center and a Primary Course in Aerospace Medicine at USAF School of Aerospace Medicine. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Wilford Hall MSAF Medical Center. He served as a Major in the USAF receiving an Honorable Discharge. He completed an Angiography and Interventional Radiology Fellowship in the Department of Radiology at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging and Therapeutics at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, American Medical Association, Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology and Chesapeake Interventional Society.
