Dr. Chun Ho is an internal medicine physician who believes trust is essential to quality medical care. He strives to establish good rapport with patients in order to achieve a high level of trust and open communication.
He is passionate about providing excellent care to everyone and has a special interest in caring for patients with diabetes.
His experience working in a psychiatric unit for two years provided him with better insight into human nature and behavior.
"Having a handle on human nature and behavior helps me relate to my patients and to understand where they are coming from and why they respond the way they do," he said. "This helps us work together to establish health goals and make a plan to achieve and maintain optimum health."
Dr. Ho graduated from the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Medicine. He worked for the government of Hong Kong in internal medicine on a renal unit, psychiatric unit and in the emergency department. He then spent 10 months in post-graduate studies at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary of the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom. He completed residency training in internal medicine at the New York Downtown Hospital, which is affiliated with Cornell University New York.
After residency training, Dr. Ho moved to Tucson because of the amazing weather and nice people. When he's not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, swimming and tai chi.
