I have been practicing psychiatry since 1985. I am board certified in General Psychiatry since 1993, in Geriatric Psychiatry since 1994, Addiction Psychiatry since 1996, Forensic Psychiatry since 1999, and Psychosomatic Medicine since 2009. I have extensive background in DBT, and a variety of psychotherapies and work in a coordinated manner with therapists. My method of practice is to teach my patients to teach me to teach them how best care for themselves. I don't tell what patients to do. I educate them, and they tell me what to do.
