Dr. John is a sports medicine provider at Carilion Clinics Institute with a medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Specializing in shoulder, elbow, and knee arthroscopy, he treats rotator cuff injuries, shoulder and elbow instability, and knee sports injuries. He is an assistant professor at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Dr. John serves as team physician for several institutions and reviews submissions for Arthroscopy: The Journal of Arthroscopy and Related Surgery. Outside of work, he enjoys swimming, tennis, cycling, and supporting his children's sports endeavors. Married with three children, he is a dedicated family man.
