Brief Intro

Dr. Courtney received his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, W.Va., and completed an internship and orthopaedic residency at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren, Ohio. He recently completed an Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, focusing on elements of total joint replacement and hip arthroscopy. In medical school, he was named to Sigma Sigma Phi, the National Osteopathic Honor Society. He was awarded the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award while serving as a clinical instructor in orthopaedics at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. A native of West Virginia, he attended Fairmont State College, receiving a bachelor's degree in biology, graduating cum laude and was a member of the Dean's List and Beta Beta Beta Honor Society.
