Dr. Pettit is a seasoned, board-certified ENT "generalist" whose training was at UCSF where he remains an Assistant Clinical Professor. While a resident he was a member of the original cochlear implant team which help establish electrical stimulation of the inner ear as the standard of care in deaf patients 12 months of age and older. Dr. Pettits interests are in hearing loss, diagnosis and treatment of dizziness, rhinology, and sinus disease. He performs office flexible endoscopy of the upper airway and vocal cords, and also enjoys microsurgery of skin and mucosal lesions. Dr. Pettit treats adults and children.
