Dr. Evans was born in Wisconsin and raised in Pennsylvania. In 1990 he graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with degrees in Cell Biology and European History. He completed his medical school in 1995 also at the Univeristy of Pennsylvania. In 1998, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Wisconsin. From 1998 to 2001 he practiced General Internal Medicine in Holland Michigan. In the spring of 2004, he completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit Michigan. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
