Dr. Crisco earned her medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. and completed a surgical internship and pathology residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Mich. She then completed a cytopathology fellowship at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Crisco is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and cytopathology. She is a member of the American Association of Blood Banks, College of American Pathologists, American Society of Clinical Pathologists and American Society of Cytopathology. Dr. Crisco is the medical director of the WellStar Kennestone Blood Bank and is also an active member of the Transfusion committee. Her hobbies include swimming, photography and travel.
