Carlos Fernando Bazoberry, MD, is a founding partner of Boston PainCare Center, and is an Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain Specialist.
Dr. Bazoberry is a native of Bolivia and received his medical degree from the Universidad Mavor de San Andres. After moving to the U.S. in 1986, he completed his medical residency in Internal Medicine at Newton Wellesley Hospital in 1993 and completed his residency in Anesthesia at Brigham and Womens Hospital in 1996. In 2000 he joined the staff at Milton Hospital as an anesthesiologist and interventional pain specialist, and in 2002 he joined Greater Boston Anesthesia Associates. Dr. Bazoberry has volunteered with many public health programs, assisting people during public unrest and armed conflicts, and organizing rescue operations for climate-related catastrophes in the Andes and the Amazon. He is a founding member of Children Without Borders, a foundation created to help disadvantaged children with complex medical problems in poor countries throughout the world. Dr. Bazoberry is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine.
